Harrow Churches Housing Association

Harrow Churches Housing Association (HCHA) was formed in 1967 when the Churches of Harrow combined their efforts to respond to the housing needs of older people in the borough. Since then, the Association has continued on its chosen path of serving the needs of people in Harrow and has grown steadily in doing so. This growth has accelerated since the introduction of housing plus support provision for the borough’s young, single homeless population.

Sheltered Housing provided by HCHA is specially designed housing for people aged 60 years and over, and is generally arranged in small, low-rise blocks of flats. It offers older people the opportunity to live in a community of people from a similar age group, where their independence can be maintained or improved.
