The Red Hen Project

The Red Hen Project works in a deprived area of Cambridge supporting children and their families to overcome barriers to learning. The issues covered include parenting, behaviour management, physical and mental health issues, bullying, low self-esteem, family break ups, bereavement, child protection issues and domestic violence. They also offer a breakfast club at which they provide a healthy meal and social interaction in a safe environment at the start of the day.

King's Hedges Primary School

King's Hedges Primary School (King's Hedges Educational Federation) is situated on the outskirts of Cambridge and provides education for children aged 3-11 years. The school aims to provide a stimulating environment where children are challenged and well motivated. They provide a range of extra curricular activities for the children.

Crossroads Counselling
Crossroads Counselling is a professional counselling service, established in 1994, situated in Bethnal Green. They work with adults on low incomes, and children, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, who have enduring emotional and mental health difficulties. Through a relationship of trust and safety, Crossroads Counselling aims to help them recover from distress, pain or trauma; find ways in which they are more able to manage their lives; improve their relationships; feel better about themselves, and have hope for their future.

Highbury Roundhouse
Highbury Roundhouse was set up in 1974 to meet the needs of the young people in the area. Since then it has grown and developed into a thriving community centre, which provides facilities for people of all ages and backgrounds. From pre-school to old age, there is something for everyone. They host a Childminders' Group, Pyramid Soft Play, a weekly playgroup and a range of dance, drama and music groups for children and young people. As well as weekly Karate classes, Pilates, and music classes for all ages. For the elderly, they have two lunch and social clubs, one of which is for members of the Afro-Caribbean community.

Headland Future

Headland Future is a registered charity based in Hartlepool, providing a range of services to children, young people and families for the benefit of those aged primarily 8-25 years. Over the past few years the organisation has more than doubled it’s services and currently operates a youth work project, young fathers support project, emotional literacy courses and family learning interventions.

Somerville Adventure Playground is a grass roots well-established community based Adventure playground serving the Community of New Cross, East London, and the surrounding area. Somerville Adventure Playground offers essential safe playspace; support and activities for school aged children, which they are otherwise denied by their environment.

1st Norwich Sea Scouts Group
1st Norwich Sea Scouts Group runs four sections, the Beavers, the Cubs, the Scouts and the Explorers, totalling in excess of one hundred active members. They are one of the longest established Scout Groups, having been in existence since 15th January 1908.
