The Equal Rights Trust

Fundraising Consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd are delighted to welcome The Equal Rights Trust as a new client. 

The Equal Rights Trust is an independent international organisation whose purpose is to combat discrimination and promote equality as a fundamental human right and a basic principle of social justice. Established as an advocacy organisation, resource centre and a think tank, it focuses on the complex and complementary relationship between different types of discrimination, developing strategies for translating the principles of equality into practice.
 

Headland Future

Fundraising Consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd are delighted to be working with Headland Future. Our funding consultants are currently reviewing a Big Lottery Fund Reaching Communities application.

Headland Future is a registered charity based in Hartlepool, providing a range of services to children, young people and families for the benefit of those aged primarily 8-25 years. Over the past few years the organisation has more than doubled it’s services and currently operates a youth work project, young fathers support project, emotional literacy courses and family learning interventions.
 

Finding Funding Workshop - 21st September 2011

The next Charity Fundraising Ltd  Finding Funding workshop, an introduction to fundraising, will take place on Wednesday 21st September in Ipswich, Suffolk. The course is OCN accredited; learners are invited to complete a workbook which serves as part of their record of the workshop,  formal assessment for OCN certification is entirely optional.

The cost is £185 which includes VAT, course materials and lunch. There are still a few places available, so please contact Peter See on 01394 610581 for further information and to book a place.

Grant funding successes for Autistic Societies

Fundraising Consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd have just heard news of another grant success for an Autistic Society. This new success is for £100,000 achieved in response to an application drafted by us and submitted by an Autistic Society to one of the Sainsbury family trusts.

Applications drafted by Charity Fundraising Ltd for a number of Autistic Societies have now achieved well in excess of £2.5 million, for revenue and capital purposes, most of this has been achieved from grant making trusts and foundations. Our Director, Graham Parker (tel. 01394 610581) would be delighted to hear from any Autistic society or Asperger’s society that would like to consider accessing our support.
 

Housing for Women

Fundraising Consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd are delighted to be working in partnership with Housing for Women to develop funding for the post of a Therapeutic Children’s Worker. Our funding consultants will first review a template funding proposal  and an application to BBC Children in Need.

Housing for Women is both a Registered Charity and a Housing Association, providing emergency accommodation and support service for women fleeing domestic violence and assisting them to move on to long term tenancies. Children caught up in such a situation need specialist support
 
Housing for Women are also the delivery partner for Re-Unite South London, in association with Commonweal Housing. The team at Charity Fundraising Ltd are delighted to have raised over £50,000 for Re-Unite.  Further Housing for Women projects include dedicated services for older women and for women trafficked for prostitution.

Jairah Funds

Fundraising Consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd are pleased to be reviewing and improving funding  applications for Jairah Funds. Jairah Funds is a charity based in Scotland which works in several countries abroad. The main focus of their work is the provision of relief for those in direct need of support in countries and areas with less than adequate social support such as India, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, sub-Saharan Africa and Morocco.

Graham Parker  Director of Charity Fundraising Ltd said; ‘ our International Development Department is delighted to be working with this small charity based in Scotland to improve its chance of success with funding applications.’
 

Further contract to achieve grant funding for Crossroads Care Cumbria

Fundraising Consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd are delighted to have signed a further  contract with  Crossroads Care Cumbria to work with them to achieve  more grants. Grants achieved during the initial contract included a grant of £63,687 from Northern Rock Foundation towards  expansion of Crossroads Care Cumbria’s  work into the west of the county, including  Keswick, Cockermouth, Maryport, Workington and Whitehaven.

Director of Charity Fundraising Ltd, Graham Parker,  said; ‘’ we are seeing an encouraging trend in that many clients on completion of an existing contract ask us  to continue to work with them in the context of a new contract. The competition for Grant funding is enormously competitive but we are still managing to achieve some major ‘wins’ for our clients.’
