Free Advertising for Registered Charities

Google make flagship advertising product 'AdWords' free of charge to UK Charities

The Google Grants UK Beta programme supports registered charities working in the following areas; science and technology, education, global public health, the environment, youth advocacy and the arts.

Google Grants may provide free keyword advertising for your charity using Google AdWords, to enable a direct connection with your target audience.

When someone enters keywords (short phrases specifying a particular search query) into Google.co.uk, ads targeted to those keywords appear alongside the search results.

Effective advertising may increase your supporter base, and benefit your fundraising strategies by helping to increase grants, donations and funding support.

Applications are more likely to succeed if they demonstrate an understanding of AdWords, and supply a sample list of keywords. Further information on the AdWords product, FAQ‘s regarding Google Grants, and details of how to apply are available from Google Grants
