Here’s a summary of some upcoming grant funding deadlines:

26th Apr 11
European Refugee Fund
Funding is available for projects that assist in the resettlement of refugees through the Gateway Protection programme.

Veolia Environmental Trust
Grants of between £25,000 and £40,000 are available to support community and environmental projects across the UK including improving community halls and creating new play areas.

Community Radio Fund
Funding is available towards the core costs of running a community radio station.

BIG Lottery – Improving Futures
Funding for organisations that help to improve outcomes for children, who grow up in difficult family circumstances: e.g. poor health, unemployment etc.

Freemasons Grand Charity
Non Masonic grants for national charities working in the areas of youth opportunities, vulnerable people and medical research. Major grants up to £50,000.

Erach and Roshan Sadri Foundation
Grants for education, welfare and relieving poverty by alleviating homelessness, up to £100,000.

Comic Relief – Older People
Funding towards supporting older people so they can bring positive change to their communities.

Comic Relief - Sport for Change
Grants for projects that are using sport to make a real difference in the communities where they are based.

Support for European Cooperation in Education and Training
Under the lifelong learning programme, funding to support European cooperation in education and training available under two parts -

A – Raising National awareness of lifelong learning strategies and of European cooperation in education and training. Grant funding up to €120,000.

B – Support for transnational cooperation in the development and implementation of national and regional strategies. Grant funding up to €300,000.

Biffaward Flagship Programme
Grants of between £150,000 and £500,000 for regional and national projects. There are two themes:

+ Rebuilding biodiversity
+ Cultural facilities
