Here’s a summary of some upcoming grant funding deadlines:

7th Aug 11
Heritage Lottery Fund
Grants of over £1 million and under £5 million. To receive a grant projects must help people to learn about their own and other people’s heritage.

The Triangle Trust
Grants of up to £10,000 towards the alleviation of poverty and the promotion of good health & welfare and the advancement and furthering of education.

Nominet Trust
Funding for UK-based initiatives that contribute to a safe, accessible Internet used to improve lives and communities.

15th Aug 11
SITA Trust: Young Persons Volunteering Fund
Offers funding of up to £10,000 for the improvement of leisure facilities and green spaces. Projects must be managed and run by young people aged between 14 and 25 years.

People’s Postcode Trust
Grants of between £2,000 and £10,000 (up to £5,000 in Wales) are available. Projects must aim to make a difference to local communities and last no longer than three months.

The London Marathon Charitable Trust
Gives grants of up to £250,000 for organisation providing or assisting in the provision of facilities for leisure and recreation for the people of London.

Big Lottery Fund: Improving Financial Confidence
Supports organisations who help people become more confident in and more aware of how to control their finances.

Sport England – Places, People, Play
Clubs, community and voluntary sector groups and councils will be able to apply for grants of between £25,000 and £150,000 where there is a proven local need for a facility to be modernised, extended or modified to open up new sporting opportunities.

The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust
Grants for projects educational bodies or aid organisations involved in projects supporting educational and development initiatives, including the promotion of world peace and development.

Land Aid -Training, Education and Support Fund
Grants between £5,000 and £25,000 for training, education or support programmes targeted at disadvantaged young people, this can include NEETS, homeless or those from a low income background.

Capital Projects Fund
Funding of between £5,000 and £25,000 for refurbishment, conversion, extension or new build of facilities for young and disadvantaged people.
