Winter 2012 Newsletter

As we return to our offices to embark upon a new year of fundraising in a challenging financial climate, there is a sense of optimism as a result of our team’s fruitful 2011.

In November alone, the team at Charity Fundraising Ltd were delighted to have achieved over £1 Million in grant funding for our client organisations. This was through a wide range of grant funding applications for five and six figure sums being awarded to six different clients. In addition to this we also heard news of a successful tender for another client to join a three year framework agreement to provide call-off services with an anticipated value of around £900,000. That made the total achieved and anticipated equal nearly £2 Million in just November. With our newly developed ability to compute our clients’ successes against invoicing, we are now able to accurately demonstrate return on investment (RoI).

Throughout the year, our highly experienced team of fundraising consultants and fundraising officers accessed funding from a vast range of sources. Five and six figure grants, awarded as a direct result of our bid writing, have funded salaries, core costs, capital appeals and more for the benefit of our client organisations working on local, regional, national or international levels. Governmental departments, trusts and foundations, the Big Lottery Fund and countless other grant-makers all approved funding.

As we turn the first pages of our 2012 diaries, our clients continue to extend and renew their contracts with us into the New Year in order to benefit from more of our strategic support and enable us to tap into yet more lucrative and diverse funding streams. Several new client charities initiated contracts with us late in 2011 and we are relishing the opportunity to demonstrate the excellent value for money we can offer in moving these organisations towards long-term sustainability.
